People in both Iran and Israel woke up to chaos on Sunday as overnight attacks left cities in ruins. Israel struck Terran’s Defense Ministry, while Iran responded with a wave of missiles that killed at least eight people in Israel, including children, and wounded around 200 others. Sirens and explosions echoed through Jerusalem and Tel Aviv as millions rushed to shelters. In Tehran, loud blasts shattered the early morning silence. This marks the third day of escalating fire between the two longtime enemies now fighting openly rather than through proxy wars. Iran has also pulled out of nuclear talks with the US, saying it won’t negotiate while under attack. Fears are growing that this could spiral into a larger regional war.
