Real Madrid 3-2 Celta Vigo | LaLiga 24/25 Match summery Today

Kylian Mbappe scored twice in Real Madrid’s late comeback from Celta Vigo to secure a 3-2 win on Sunday and remain four points clear of LaLiga leaders Barcelona, who will visit them in the Clásico next weekend.
Real Madrid’s fourth consecutive victory kept the title dream alive with four games to go until the end of La Liga, while Celta Vigo remained in seventh place after their third defeat in four league games.
“The most important thing is to win. We played a good first half but then we collapsed… They’re a great team and they’ve got us into trouble,” midfielder Federico Valverde told Real Madrid TV.
Real Madrid dominated the opening hour of the game, with Arda Güler breaking the deadlock after a brief half-hour mark and scoring a short one-to-two corner for Lucas Vázquez and then sending a perfect left-footed shot through the difference between the defenders from a tight angle.
Mbappe doubled Real Madrid’s lead six minutes later when Jude Bellingham’s ball unleashed the Frenchman, who ran from the opposition’s half and shot with his right foot over the edge of the box into the net.
The match was evenly balanced as both teams had their fair share of possession. Real Madrid controlled 54% of the ball. They had 17 shots, six of which hit the target. Celta managed to get seven shots on goal. Carlo Ancelotti’s side completed 605 passes compared to Celta’s 519.
Real Madrid currently has 75 points from 34 games, four points lower than league leaders Barcelona. The title race heats up with only four games left in the season, one of which is El Clásico.
